ESR always manages to present their products in a nice way. Simple enough packing and came intact. No damages from shipping.Of course the opening of the box is sponsoring their company. The product was stored cleverly and easily removable. The other way to tell is to see the button on the bottom lite up. This is the on and off button.I liked the glowing phone dock. It is not noticeable at night because it is behind the phone. You have to actual look behind it to see if it is on.Being what this is, it's straight forward. You get the whole base and charging docks all in one piece. No assembly besides plugging in the chord.This is able to charge up 6 electronics; your phone, smart watch, wireless buds, and 3 wired on the side. Advertising 100w, I wanted to see how long it takes each port if they were all plugged in. As to be expected, the power splits to different watts each port. I had to look at the diagram to see which gives the most wattage when everything is being used. I show the diagram from the booklet in how. Self explanatory. It did take time for my chrome book to charge because I put it in the wrong port so priotize which you need a faster charge. Also no matter if you charge multiple or just 1 electronic, the wattages are set. Phone charges at 15w. Watch and buds at 5w. The only wattage change will be the side ports. Wish somehow it could have been like this for everything. A dream if the phone can charge at even 50w let along to 100w on this.As advertised, it is magsafe compatible. You got a case for it, it will charge wirelessly. It's not as strong as I imagine but it will not fall. Just place it on correctly.Now of course, this has apple products specifically in mind for this dock. I however have a samsung and wanted to see how it would work. Everything works in general. The placement for the wireless buds are design for apple so if it's too large with other brands, it may not fit and not charge then. The watch holder will only hold Apple watches. I tried my samsung watch and it's a no go. I tried placing my watch charger and found it's sort of magnetic to hold it but will not look decent.As much as I love the design of this and the idea of a very functional charging stand, I find it is not the size that fits all. Mostly because this is designed for Apple products and the wattage adapt to how many and what ports are being used. One concern was that I noticed when plugging in all electronics, the base gets very hot. Becareful not to place you hand on it for long. I don't think it is meant to have everything charging at once or at least just for a short time.So to sum it up:Pros: great stand design, can charge 6 electronics, 3 wireless and 3 wired, keeps phone from overheating, great functionality.Cons: design specifically for Apple, limits other electronic brands specifically watch, power limited charging when all 6 ports are used, gets hot on the stand.If you are an ESR fan like me who owns a samung, I would maybe consider one of the lower wattage stands that have the watch port empty. Can try to holster the watch charger you get into that.If you're an Apple user, this would be a great stand to have at your night table or desk. Very convienent.What I wish for: a stand that can charge wirelessly the phone at a higher wattage 45w or above. As well as a stand designed for other companies. I realize magesafe is specifically an Apple invention but would be nice options now that other phone brands are joining the band wagon.
